December 2003: Founding of Cashflow SA in Lonay (VD)
- 2 main shareholders: Jean-Luc Jaquier and Horst Huttenmeister
- The company's objectives: to offer cash solutions for stores, particularly boutiques.
2004: Cashflow offers third-party software to its first customers:
- Pointex France (foodservice, catering)
- FrontShop France (stores)
- Hötl Germany (chain stores)
- La Fouly Switzerland (groceries, beverages)
2005 : After-sales service outsourced to an IT company
2006 : Beginning of development of Cashflow POS software
- First programmer hired (software in WinDev)
- Hiring of a technician for direct after-sales service
2007: Development of functions for multi-stores
- Move to DotNet technology and Firebird SQL database
- First chain-store customers
2008: Move to Epalinges (VD)
- Cashflow expands with 2 additional technicians and 1 secretary
2009: Development of ski rental software
- 4 sports store customers participate in software development
2011 : Beginning of cash register rentals for events
2012 : Development of weighing solutions
- Interface with Bizerba and Mettler scales
2014 : Relocation to Vaulruz (FR)
- Expansion of premises
- Cashflow expands with 2 additional programmers and 2 technicians
- Development of wristband payment solutions for events (Cashless)
2015: Separation of the events business
- creation of Cashflow Events
2016 : Development of smartphone applications
- Order entry at event tables
- Inventories
- Development of a Dataservice enabling third-party applications to connect to the checkout database.
2018 : Relocation to Rossens (FR) following the sale of the Vaulruz building
- Software development is also carried out by subcontractors.
2020 : Move to Fribourg
Following the challenges initiated by Covid, our way of working is being reorganized:
- More mobility for employees (call-center, flexible working hours, part-time work)
- Introduction of a cloud CRM for internal management (after-sales service, invoicing, schedules)
- Launch of Premium service contracts (flat rate for after-sales service and numerous discounts)
- Cashflow Events premises moved back into new Cashflow premises.
- The new premises are located 2 steps from Freiburg station to encourage the use of public transport.
2021 : Start of Cashflow Cloud development and IT partnerships
- Launch of e-commerce (online stores with real-time link to store items and stocks)
- Development of interfaces and APIs for third-party applications via the cloud (Woocommerce online sites, Ma Cantine school canteen management)
- Partnerships with IT companies for outsourced IT work (supply and installation of IT and office equipment, configuration and security of IT networks)
2022 : Development of mobile applications
- Launch of mobile applications for inventory and stock management on smartphones
- Development of e-commerce links with Wix and Zalando (stocks are managed in real time between the sales site and the store)
2023 : Cloud functions added
- Development of automatic cloud backup (backup of cash register data on the cloud is checked weekly by a specialist for greater security)
- The young Anorac agency in Fribourg has redesigned the www.cashflow.ch website.
2024 : Addition of interfaces and new functions on the mobile terminal
- Development of a powerful interface for automatic import of delivery notes from Cadar and CultureFood suppliers.
- Addition of pending ticket entry on smartphones
- Integration of the ZeroSix solution on the checkout system (powerful customer-oriented marketing tool - https://zerosix.com/)
- Addition of item labeling with automatic calculation of unit price.
2025 : New functions for mobile app. and new company for events
- New interface with contextual item search
- Possibility of putting the smartphone app on any Android device, and using the camera to scan items
- Cashflow Events becomes Taporro sàrl and moves to Belfaux
- Taporro sàrl develops its own software directly on mobile payment terminals
